Fall 2008

Sat, Sept 13: (5:00-6:30, 3,4 & 5 year olds)

Sun, Oct 5: (1:00-2:30, 5th-8th grade)

Church School families are invited to attend our fall BBQ’s. It’s a chance to meet the teachers and other families from your child’s church school class.

Bible Fun Night
Friday, Nov 7, 2008
(6:00-8:00 pm)

Can the Bible be fun? Yes! 3rd through 8th grade youth are invited to this Bible- themed event. There will be Bible trivia games, Bible Jeopardy, Bible Wheel of Fortune, a Bible scavenger hunt and even a visit to the catacombs!. It's an evening that youth enjoy while they learn about the Bible. We begin with dinner and end with ice cream sundaes!

Little Ones Play Group
2008: September 27 and October 25
2009; January 24 and March 21
4th Saturdays of the month
(10:30-12:00 noon)

1st and 2nd grade classroom

Bring your children ages 4 and under for an informal play date with church friends. We all bring snack to share and meet in the 1st and 2nd grade classroom where there are is an abundance of play equipment. Children play while parents get -acquainted and chat.

Train Night

(5:00-7:00 pm)

The church hall will be filled with big electric trains and small Brio sets to entertain the youngest and the oldest. Bring a potluck dish of " train food" to share and join us for great evening of fellowship and fun train crafts. Train buffs from 2 to 82 are invited!

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

Everyone likes breakfast for dinner so join us for pancakes this evening. It’s an old tradition of using all the fat in the house before Lent, merged with a new tradition of celebrating Lent as a family. Lenten Bingo and a church treasure hunt will complete the evening!
