Music
Chancel Choir
Everyone has a place in the choir — some sing low and some sing higher! If you love to sing, then please consider yourself warmly invited to become a member of our Chancel Choir. The choir sings during Sunday morning Worship services from September through June.
Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Hudson choir room. Rehearsals are also held on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:15 a.m. Our Director of Music, Bill Coye, would love to add you to his chorus. Call 343-3694 for more information.
Children's Choir
Our Children's Choir is open to all young people, ages 5 to 11, who enjoy singing and love to have fun! The group meets most Sunday mornings before church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. in the Youth Room, and sings in the church service nine to ten times a year. Director Julie Berk enthusiastically welcomes all interested children, and will consider those younger than 5 by special permission. For more information, please call 343-3694.
Carillon Bell Choir
Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong! Sundays are extra-special when the handbell choir is on hand to enhance worship! And Lynnelle Bilsey has also taken our excellent Carillon Bell Choir on the road to "Spring Ring Festivals." Lynnelle loves to welcome new handbell ringers into the Carillon Bell Choir. Interested? Give her a ring at 342-1795.
Learn About Our Church Organ
Our church houses an early Casavant pipe organ, one of the finest on the West Coast. Read more about the history of our organ.
Organ Camp
Our church organist, Dr. Angela Kraft Cross, is committed to the musical education of young people. Now in its seventh year, Organ Camp is an opportunity for your pianists to learn about the pipe organ. "Campers" range from ages 8-13 with "assistants" from ages 12-16. Organ Camp consists of several field trips to different local organs and to a local organ factory. As part of the experience, Organ Campers have the opportunity to play a piece during a Sunday worship service. For more information, call Angela at 368-6684.
