Service & Social Justice

MSJ logoCCSM is a spiritual center where we explore our deepest values, connect genuinely with others, and go forth with a greater commitment to service and justice. We are reminded as we leave worship every Sunday morning that, “God has no hands but your hands, no feet but your feet, no face but your face.”  Only through our actions can God’s love be made tangible.  Our commitment to justice and peace can create a more compassionate world.

At the Congregational Church of San Mateo, we put our commitment into action.

  • LEARN about justice issues
  • VOLUNTEER to help
  • DONATE items needed by various causes
  • EXPLORE justice issues here and beyond our borders
    (service-learning opportunities).

To ask a question, share an opinion, express a passion or concern, email or call the Volunteer Minister for Social Justice, Rev. Dr. Kibbie Ruth, (650) 580-1797.
