Bonnie Rambob Co-Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries

I am delighted and honored to have the opportunity to serve as CCSM’s co-director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, along with my partner of nineteen years, Rajeev Rambob.  Upon completion of my second year of seminary at the Pacific School of Religion, I am even more convicted of the many ways a passionate progressive Christianity offers the world great hope, especially through the voices of our young people.  I am thrilled to be able to work alongside a truly gifted pastoral staff and all of the wonderful people that make CCSM such a vibrant, thriving church family.  I add to my call to ministry the call to be mom to my two sons, Julian (18) and Nik (15); and the call to teach, which has given me a fulfilling, fifteen-year-long elementary, middle and high school teaching career.  
Before entering seminary, I co-founded, along with Rajeev, the only homeless emergency sheltering program in El Dorado County.  Rajeev continues this work as executive director of San Mateo County’s Home and Hope of which CCSM is a much-appreciated partner.   I have found my background as a mother, educator, and homeless advocate to have a profound impact, not only my life, but also on my vision of ministry.  These days when I am not writing papers or hanging out with the Mid High, Senior High or 2030s crowd, I love to read fiction and poetry, knit, play outside, hang out with my family and friends, and dream of all that is yet to be.
