Teen Programs
Youth Program
Mid-High youth (6-8th grade)
Sundays: First Sunday of the month, our Mid Highers attend worship. There are opportunities for worship leadership. On other weeks there is a special Mid-High program in the Youth Room during worship at 10:30. This is a time of faith formation, spiritual exploration, communal activities, games and relationship development.
Mid-High Youth Group meets twice monthly on Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m., in the Youth Room. Building on Sunday’s programs, Wednesday night Mid-High Youth Group is all about personal discovery, serving others and bonding as a community (and having dinner together!)
Each grade level has specific rites of passage to complete as they work toward confirmation in 8th grade. Eighth graders will have an overnight retreat designed especially for them in preparation to be confirmed.

The CCSM Confirmation Experience is Happening
Confirmation for our youth is going on right now! Confirmation is the time in a young person’s life (usually in 7th and 8th grade) where
they are offered some information and education
about their faith as Christians and then invited
to become full members of our church on Sunday, June 2, 2013, and we hope many of
you will be there to celebrate with us.
Senior High youth (9-12th grade):
Sundays: Sr. High Youth group meets every other Sunday, 11:45 am - 1 p.m. 60 Minutes has been incorporated into the Sr. High Youth Group. Each meeting includes time to build community, relevant faith exploration, spiritual practices and a charge to change the world (and lunch, of course). Youth Group topics change and develop through the year in collaboration with participants. There are many opportunities for worship leadership, service projects, and time to unwind with friends.
