Whoever you are, wherever you have come from, wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here. We are a spiritual community on a journey — a journey of faith, learning what it means to be progressive Christians in our world. We seek to take the radically inclusive message of love into our community. By your presence with us, ours will be a better, stronger church as you refresh us and challenge us to a renewed endeavor.

We invite you to come and worship with us. I always tell people that every Sunday is a little different, so come to church a few times before you decide if this is the right place for you. Each person who comes to us comes for his or her own reasons. While we are eager to hear your story and for you to share your spiritual journey, what is most important to us is that you feel at home here, just as you are.

Recently, CCSM members have been giving their testimony in church — sharing how they are finding ways to show up to spirit in the twists and turns that life inevitably brings. Some folks here have been part of church all their lives, others are exploring a faith community in which to raise their children, and still others are hungering for a spirituality that is not centered around a set of beliefs but offers guidelines on a way to live. Too often religion has been presented as an exclusive club focusing on rules rather than on relationships. At CCSM, we are seeking to find new ways to gather in community regardless of creed. And while we are far from perfect, and still have a long way to go on our journey of inclusion, we really do mean it when we say our doors are open to all.
