faith
 The Congregational Church of San Mateo strives to blend tradition and innovation. Our worship services have a quality that echoes through the ages and yet speaks to the contemporary person. Through music, prayers, sermons and hymns, we strive to create a spiritual hour where the presence of God and the love of others is palpable.
Although the primary goal of worship is not mere entertainment—but rather the praise of God and the lifting of souls—we do not purposely avoid being entertaining.
Too many churches seem as if they believe monotony and tediousness is holy. Faithful worship should also be just plain fun!
Services are held on Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
